CAMPUS BIKE DAY: Bike Fitting & Bicycle Coding
Dear campus employees,
On May 5, CampusVital is organizing the Campus Bike Day 2026 and cordially invites all interested parties to participate.
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. BIKE FITTING
If you ride your bike a lot and want to improve your health and fitness at the same time, you should have it checked for ergonomic settings. The bike coaches take a close look at the bike on site and check essential technical functions and equipment features. They also take your body measurements so that the bike can be optimally adjusted according to ergonomic criteria. Registration required. Campus employees only.
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. BICYCLE CODING
You have the opportunity to have your bicycle coded and registered by the theft prevention team of the Berlin Police. This service is free of charge. Once your bike is registered, you will enjoy a number of benefits which mean your bike will be a less attractive target for thieves, and if stolen and recovered by the Police, your bike can easily be returned to you. Please bring an ownership document (proof of purchase) and your identity card or passport.
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. SPRING CHECK FOR YOUR BICYCLE
Fahrradhof Buch will check and repair your bike. Replacement parts will be billed.

Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften 2026
Save the Date!
Die nächste Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften findet am 6. Juni 2026 in Berlin statt! Seien Sie wieder dabei, wenn Forschungseinrichtungen, Hochschulen und Labore ihre Türen öffnen!
Die Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften findet am 06. Juni 2026 statt (vorbehaltlich von Änderungen). Von 17 bis 24 Uhr laden dann wieder rund 50 wissenschaftliche und wissenschaftsnahe Einrichtungen in Berlin zu spektakulären Experimenten, spannenden Vorträgen, Wissenschaftsshows und Laborführungen ein und geben so Besucher:innen die Möglichkeit, hinter die Kulissen zu schauen.
Die Veranstaltungen sind auf insgesamt fünf Stadtgebiete verteilt – vom Westen über das Zentrum bis Buch, über den Südwesten bis nach Südosten. Wie immer richtet sich das Programm der LNDW an alle Altersgruppen und bietet besondere Programmpunkte für Schüler:innen an.
Organisiert und finanziert wird die Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften weitgehend von den beteiligten wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen selbst. Darüber hinaus wird sie von zahlreichen Partnern aus der Region unterstützt, insbesondere von der Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH und der Technologiestiftung Berlin.
